Detroit Firworks and Grad Parties

Last Wednesday Natalie, Sarah, Brian, Jenna, Matt, Nikki, P.J., Marvin, and I went over to Canada to watch the Detroit fireworks. Good night, did some walking throughout Windsor then chilled in the park and watched the fireworks. Oh and then after the fireworks 9 people were shot in Hart Plaza. Nuts. On our drive home we got pushed off of I-75 and got stuck taking Gratiot allllll the way home. Damn did that suck. They then took it from 4 lanes down to 1. It was nuts and that area of the D is not very pretty. We were just cruising a long and *BAM!* this bomb went off in the street in front of us. Woke Natalie up. Nuts. Overall it was an adventuresome night.

Friday night Natalie and I arrived fashionably late to her cousins dance recital (or we just forgot we had tickets and ended up there an hour and a half late). Saturday there was a few grad parties we had to goto. First off we went to her friend Lindsay’s then I went off to Kenny’s, a good friend of the family’s son. Since Natalie has a broken arm I drove her to and from work both Saturday and Sunday. After work on Saturday I we went back to Kenny’s for a lil while then later went back to her house and rented Mystic River. Sunday we went to my cousin Neil’s graduation. Good times. All the youngin’s are getting older and well, that just makes me that much more older…fuckin-A.

Nothing else too new. Just a small update, haven’t been upto much lately. Working…working. This upcoming weekend….4th of July.. OOOoooOOO I can’t wait!! Port Austin and Caseville, it’s gonna be one helluva weekend!! So kickass! Ayite I’ll update later, prolly after the big weekend. Hope y’all have a sweet 4th and don’t blow up anything too bad.

Bout to get off of work in a few minutes so time to clean up the desk…. laters

a new update will be soon, but for now….

after a lil boredom I started to photoshop pictures and well here’s the result:

Can This Really Be?

(Warning: This image is big, approx 1 meg, because of the detail and clarity of the image)

Look closely at the eyes and mouth or visa versa, my main goal with this was the detail. Let me know what ya think. Boo!

3 years…DONE!!!

I couldn’t be more relieved than I am right now. After a grueling past 36 hours of studying and exam taking…I’ve completed my junior year of college. It feels great.

The past week:
Last weekend didn’t do all to much. Friday night went to Danko’s for a lil drinking social and Saturday night Natalie and I went to the drive-in at the Silverdome. Did you know they turned the Silverdome parking lot into a drive-in? It’s really quite cool. Click here to see whats playing there. As for Monday and Tuesday…my last 2 days of real class.
Tuesday, June 15th, 2004 – The Detroit Pistons put a whomping on the puss wuss L.A. Lakers and showed the world who really is the best damn basketball team. 2004 NBA World Champions. It was such a kick as series where Detroit more than dominated the Lakers. So damn awesome. We had a gatherin at our APT for the game then went out to a couple bars for a lil afterward celebration. Go Pistons! Bad is Back!!

Wednesday I went home for the day to help Natalie take notes in class since she broke her arm on Monday during dance. Poor thing. The rest of the day was just relaxation before the gruesome studying. I did make a pitstop at the Palace of Auburn Hills to pick me up some Pistons Champion apparel.

And then the hell began…
Wednesday night I began my studying for Physics and also wrote a 7-page paper for Economic Thought. Went to bed at 1am. Bright and early at 6am Thursday morning I awoke to take my first final – Physics. After a couple hours of that I took a small nap then studying and prepared for my Economic Thought Final at 3pm. For the rest of the evening to the late hours of 2am I studying with others for Computer Architecture. Woke up at round 5ish to study some more before taking my last and final exam at 7:30am. It is now around 10:30am Friday morning and this semester is now complete. So wonderful.

Now is my time to sleep before I start packing to go home tomorrow morning. Tomorrow afternoon Natalie will be performing at her dance recital around 1pm. Hopefully she’ll be ok after breaking her arm. Best of luck babes, luv ya.

Oh and one more thing…..
Burger King Piston Bobbleheads-Available for only a very limited time Burger King offered Piston Bobbleheads of 10 players/coaches in the Metro Detroit/Flint area. Living in Flint my collegues and I were able to obtain some of the very hard to get and key players. We are now offering these Bobbleheads up for sale on eBay. If you’re interested in purchasing one go here and place your bid.

Here comes the summer baby and I know it’s going to be the best one yet!!

Hell yes!

GO PISTONS!!

Memorial Weekend, Graduation, Birthday, last weeks of school….

1 Weekend ago: Memorial Weekend
For the holidays I went with my family and Nat’s family up to Port Austin/Caseville.
Natalie came and picked me up friday morning from my apartment up at Kettering and we left. First we went to her place, unpacked her stuff then drove over to my place. Later that night we went back to her cottage and slept. The next day my cousins Nick and Matt, along with Jenny and Kristy came up. We all hung out and just were being damn lazy. As always we made sure we hit up Joe’s pizza (best damn pizza ever), a lil Grindstone ice cream and seen a movie in the lil’ Bad Axe movie theatre (Shrek 2). Damn, that movie was just as good as the first, hilarious. Saturday night Natalie and I set up a tent and slept in it together and Sunday night Matt and Kristy joined us. I went and picked us up some “drinks” and we watched a movie and drank it up in the tent. Fun nite. It was the tent-o-love that night, hehe. We had to leave on Monday b/c Natalie had to go for her interview Tuesday morning for a new job.

….And as of that Tuesday, Natalie now works at the Applebees by Lakeside. Go her, congrats babe. Since it was the holidays I had an extended weeked (which I was so happy for) and only a 3-day school week. So this past week, another crazy one, was my sister, Sienna’s graduation, and my brother, Justin’s birthday.

Last weekend:
Friday night Natalie and I, along with Rachel and B-Rad came over my house. We played a “dirty game” then called it a night. Saturday I had lots of running around to do. First of we found our 8th and final group member for our Myrtle Beach trip!! A good friend of Rob, Renee Fox, joined us. We’re all excited that she’s coming with us and can’t wait much longer til we depart! Later that day I was helping around the house getting it ready for peoples to come over for my sisters graduation. Now that we live in a new house, we have like this clubhouse thing in our neighborhood that has a pool and fitness center, so Natalie and I went and worked out together, something we’ll be doing much more often.

So Saturday night was my sister, Sienna’s, graduation from Stevenson High School (where I’m an alumni too). It was at the Palace of Auburn Hills, as always, and it all went well. Later that night we had family members over for pizza and stuff like that. As for Sunday, it was my brother Justin’s 15th birthday. Again, we had people over for that. It was a really busy weekend, but we had a good time with the family.

I’m sure you all know about the Pistons and their kicking of L.A.’s ass in the finals on game 1 Sunday night. I’m so hype about it. It’s so awesome and unbelievable where we are right now and how sweet the Pistons are! Ironic fact: June 6th, 1989, Pistons were playing in the NBA finals against the Lakers and won and my brother Justin was born during the game.
June 6th, 2004, Pistons played in the NBA finals against the Lakers and won and it’s my brother’s 15th birthday. Go Pistons! Game 2 tonight!!

The rest of the week is going to be extremely busy as this school semester comes to a close. But basically by the end of this week I’ll be completed with 3 of my 5 classes and the proceeding week will basically be study time for Physics and Computer Architecture. Ahh I can’t wait much longer, I’m really looking forward to the summer, which is oh so close.

This weekend, maybe to the drive-in, anyone wanna join? Dial the digits. As for now I need to doing so more fucking homework/projects/programs that’ll keep me way to occupied for the next couple days. Damn, school is so hard! Ayite, later.
