A new year and busy holidays

Ok, here`s a look back at the past month.

I finished up my school semester on December 16th. The semester was whoa busy and I can’t believe that I was actually able to finish everything that I had to do. For my Computer Networks class, our group wrote this awesome Mail User Client in Java. It’s tight. The week after moving home from school I spent the next 5 days in the hospital with Natalie. Natalie had her wisdom teeth pulled and since she’s on Coumadin (a blood thinner) it’s a long drawn out precautionary process. Basically they have to bridge her on Heparin (another blood thinner with a quicker half-life) in order to perform the procedure. She wasn’t the happiest of people that week. I worked on that Tuesday, but for the rest of the week I spent my days and nights with her in Ann Arbor, chillin out in the hospital. Friday morning Danko and I went to Mt Holly for some much needed snowboarding. Friday night I fell asleep with her in the hospital and drove her home in the morning, Christmas Eve that is.

So for Christmas Eve we had a lot to do. After taking her home I went to my house and showered up and back over her house for Christmas Eve with her family. Later that night we went over my Aunt Carries house for my dad’s side of the family. Christmas day was awesome too! Natalie spent most of the day with her family and father while I was at home with mine. Later that day we went over her cousins house for another Christmas party. Later that night it was back to my house with my family, once again. Christmas was overall fun and quite busy.

That Monday Natalie and I really just relaxed after a much happening week. Tuesday morning I went with my family up north to my grandpa’s place in Cedar, MI. I had a good time up there, but it woulda been 10x better if we had snow! With all the rain most of the snow was melted and no snowmobiling took place, damness. After the week up there I came home for the New Years!! I’ve been planning quite the party at my house to bring in the New Year

The party at my house was awesome. I had a good number of close friends and family. We had a liqour pong table setup and so much effin food for everyone! Lots of drinking occured and there were many drunken ones, including myself. The highlight of the night has to be my cousin, Nick, proposing to his g/f Jenny. Nuts, my cousins gettin married!

Bringing in the 2006 year was a blast and I’m sure everyone had a great time.

After new years it was time for another vacation for myself. Along with Eady and crew we drove up to Blue Mountain for the week of snowboarding. Oh was it an awesome trip. The snow kinda sucked and it rained 1 day, but overall the trip was sweet. I’m actually finally getting the hang of this snowboarding stuff!

There are pictures of all the events list above on my picture website so if you’re interested in more pictures you hafta go to anthonypix.com Everything is logged right there, in full technicolor!

So I think that sums it up, my last month in action. Its 2006 and a whole new year for me. By the beginning of 2007 I’ll be completed with school, have a new job, and well a whole new life. Its actually quite scary! I guess we’ll just have to see where things go from there. I have class tonight at OCC along with every other monday and wednesday of the next 16 weeks. Ughh, I just can’t wait to graduate. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Only 27 credits left for my degree and minor! Woot! It’s nearing.

Time goes by so quickly. I can’t wait to see what the future beholds!
