What happened?! So Monday after a lil Pistons victory, there was a lot going on at our apartment. Today we get this letter from our landlord.
(I originally took a picture of the letter, but realized it was too hard to read off of the image so I ran an OCR scan on the document to clarify things), take note that it says that they received it again on May 25th, hence the 2nd game of the playoffs. It sucks going to a school that can’t even enjoy sport moments like this….

URGENT! DATE: 5/26/2005 On May 23rd at 12:00 am we received complaints of noise coming from your apartment from other residents, and our security staff. This is a lease violation which consists of a $100.00 fine. This complaint was received again on May 25, 2005 If we receive another complaint for noise coming from your apartment you will be fined $100.00. When security personnel warns you to keep the noise level in your apartment down you must comply or you will each be fined accordingly. Your actions on the night of the 23rd are in a security report. There will be a $25.00 fine that will be- charged to your apartment for throwing your patio chair from the balcony. You can avoid this fine by purchasing a chair comparable to replace the one that you destroyed. PS. You are being treated very fairly this time. When you make a mess you are expected to clean it up. When you break things you arc expected to replace them with better or equal value. Please respect others that live near you by keeping the noise level down. Only our third fine, not the funniest, the pumpkin one last semester was awesome. Anyways I’ll be updating sooner than later, when this week calms down a lil bit.
